Bio:

My name is James Quattlebaum, I am a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ.  I am also a Professional Land Surveyor registered in Georgia.  I am the owner and operator of Origin Land Services LLC, which was established in 2023.  I have been in the surveying industry since 1985 and obtained licensure in 2004.  I worked in the private sector from 1985 until 1998.  In 1998 I began working for a local water utility first as a survey helper and then as their in-house land surveyor. I worked there until retirement in 2023.  After Licensure, I did work as a Sole Proprietor, working from my home in the afternoons and on weekends as time allowed.  After Retirement from the water utility in 2023, I wanted to keep active, so I established Origin Land Services LLC, where I focus on residential and light commercial jobs that require surveying services for boundary, as-built, topographic, minor subdivision and/or parcel combination work. My mission is to provide Professional Land Surveying Services in a timely, yet affordable manner.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife (Debbie) and our son (Logan).  We are active in our local church and enjoy being there on a regular basis.  We enjoy camping in our RV and enjoy visiting many of the State Parks in our area. We also like to visit with family and friends.  We make a special effort to combine camping and visiting into one occasion as often as possible.
